The BIO oil of argan 1ª Pressure BIO is obtained by steam dragging from the fruit of Argania spinosa.
Argan oil is a very versatile active ingredient, emollient with a high antioxidant effect. They are a source of linoleic and oleic acid. It can be applied both on the face, as well as on the body and hair. When used for cosmetic purposes, it must be obtained by cold pressing, and it is not roasted so that it does not lose its properties.

Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1998, it is one of the most drought-resistant trees and is adapted to living in almost desert-like climates. This is because it can develop very long roots to obtain water from deep in the earth. Native to Morocco, the argan tree can live for more than 200 years. It is stout and has a screw-shaped trunk. It is sometimes more than 10 metres high.
The fruits are olive-shaped and germinate in summer. Inside the kernel are its seeds, which vary between one and three, from which argan oil is extracted.
